KK Integrated Logistics began as a warehousing company serving the paper industry in 1984. As our customer base grew, we added more locations and services to reach customers throughout the country and on a global scale.
We are proud to be a family-owned company, spending four decades building our reputation as Wisconsin's leader in integrated logistics solutions.
K&K Warehousing is founded by Tom Kuber and his then-business partner. The company is focused on building commercial real estate properties for customers in Menominee, MI and Marinette, WI. The projects included construction of three separate warehouses:
Constructed an 80,000 square foot warehouse in the Menominee Industrial Park,
Constructed a 375,000 square foot warehouse in Marinette, WI in three phases, and
Constructed a 250,000 square foot warehouse on Scott Paper Company’s property.
K&K Warehousing builds a 70,000 SF warehouse on the Menominee River and operates the warehouse, which is the company’s entry into public warehousing.
Menominee River warehouse expands to 350,000 SF via four 70,000 additions to support expansion of existing and new customers.
Constructed 140,000 square foot warehouse in Menominee, MI. Sold in 2013.
Began stevedoring pig iron at Marinette Fuel & Dock’s dock utilizing cranes on K&K’s ship, the William H. Donner, 1914. The partnership continued for over 20 years.
Purchased 375,000 square foot warehouse in Marinette, WI.
Acquired 70,000 square foot warehouse in Green Bay, WI.
Company enters into ocean shipping (Great Lakes European Shipping) with Europe-based partner to move primarily forest products from Europe to K&K’s Menominee Port.
Acquired 196,000 square foot warehouse in Green Bay, WI.
Acquired 215,000 square foot dry/refrigerated/freezer warehouse in Menominee, MI.
Opened privately-owned and operated port at our Green Bay Pearl Street location.
Company enters into Great Lakes shipping (KK Integrated Shipping) via acquisition of two self-unloading steamships, the Reserve and Buckeye. Converted both steamships to Articulated Tug Barges (ATBs). Christened and renamed the former Buckeye to the Lewis J. Kuber, named after Tom’s father in 2006. Christened and renamed the former Reserve the James L. Kuber, named after Tom’s father in 2008.
Handled over 1,200 wind components each year in KKIL’s Port of Menominee.
Acquired 130,000 square foot warehousing in Peshtigo, WI.
Acquired 290,000 square foot warehouse in Port Edwards, WI.
Acquired historic building in downtown Menominee for new corporate headquarters and completed a renovation of the building.
Two new construction additions totaling 140,000 square feet to Menominee River warehouse in support of a strategic partnership, making warehouse a total of 560,000 square feet.
Acquired the Westside Warehouse Company in Wausau, WI which consisted of two active warehouses:
